17 month updates

Grant was 17 months on Friday...almost 1 1/2...it really is so hard to believe!!  He is really growing and is up to 28 lbs 6 ozs and 32 1/2 in. tall.  He is getting his 9th tooth, another front bottom tooth.  He constantly wants to play outside and never sits in one place very long!  He loves to come up to you, take your hand, say "hold" and then lead you over to the door.  He then says "go go" until he gets to go outside.  He is so sweet when he does this that it makes it really difficult to say no.  Of course if you do say no, a tantrum is soon to follow on most days (which is always lots of fun).

One of his favorite shows to watch these days is Sesame Street...he will actually sit still to watch it :) One of his favorite words to say latetly is "no."  I think he says it about 100 times a day :)  Green beans, grilled cheese sandwiches and any type of bread/roll/biscuit are top foods on his list right now.  He continues to love daycare and has made some new neighborhood friends that he likes to play with.  For the longest time, he has always said "daddy" more than "mama" and he has just recently started saying "mama" so much more.  I have to say that he is a handful these days, but he is still my sweet little boy.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

On Saturday, we took Grant to a local pumpkin patch.  They had lots of kid's activities that Grant really enjoyed.  We took a hay ride around the farm and picked out pumpkins from the pumpkin patch.  Grant loved running around everywhere and climbing on anything he could find.  It was absolutely beautiful outside...I love this time of the year and so does Grant!  He really would stay outside all of the time if we would let him :)
