11 months!

It's so hard to believe that in less than a month Colton will be 1 and Grant will be 4! Colton is a growing and happy boy at 11 months old! He is continuing to take more and more steps and can almost walk across the room. Of course, he is much faster when he crawls:) He has been sleeping like a champ lately and is doing better every day with his sippy cup. For some reason this week, he hasn't been as interested in trying new foods and I think puffs are his favorite thing to eat.

We have been working on planning a birthday party for the boys and will have the party on May 17th at our house for both boys. It is going to be a Hot wheels race car theme per Grant's request:) We are going to have a party at school for Grant and all of his friends on May 14th.

We are looking forward to Easter tomorrow and both boys have had fun with Easter parties at school this week. Colton loves playing with plastic Easter eggs and Grant loves Easter egg hunts!

Happy 11 months sweet boy! You are growing up way too fast!

Date Night

Last night Brandon and I had a date night, which is pretty rare these days with our busy lives! Brandon got us tickets to go to the Charlotte Knights baseball game. This weekend was opening weekend at their new stadium uptown. Brandon's parents came over to keep the boys so that we could go. Back in the day, we went to sporting events all the time:) We had a fun night! The stadium is really nice and the Charlotte skyline was beautiful. It was really great to have some time to ourselves, but we definitely want to go back soon and take Grant.

Growing up!

Last weekend, Colton started taking steps! A few weeks ago, he started standing up by himself from sitting and not holding onto anything. I thought he would be walking soon and now he is well on his way:) He usually takes about 4-5 steps and then sits down. He is so proud of himself when he does it and always has a huge smile on his face! I think we are going to have a little walker soon!

We also moved Colton to the big bath tub and he absolutely loves it! He loves playing with his bath toys and splashing in the water! You have to watch him like a hawk because he wants to stand up and walk in the bath tub and also likes putting his face in the water.

Brandon went to the Masters golf tournament this week and brought Grant back this new hat. He loves it and wears it constantly! I can't believe he will be 4 next month!

Last week, Grant wrote his name on the chalkboard in his room with very little direction from me. I was so impressed! He stills switches back and forth between using his left and right hand and honestly does well with both of them...maybe just a little bit better with his left. We also signed Grant up for T-ball last week and he will be starting practice in the next few weeks. He is so excited about it and can't wait!

My boys are growing up so quickly!!
