Great Wolf Lodge!

Last week we took a 3 day mini vacation to the Great Wolf Lodge in Concord. Grant loves water parks and we wanted Grant to get to have a vacation since we aren't going to the beach this year because Colton is so young.  We really had a great time! MiMi went with us and Hannah, Aunt Kelli and Uncle Heath came to play on Sunday. They have a huge indoor water park and tons of activities perfect for Grant's age.  He absolutely loved it! He even went down the big water slides! They also have characters that come for story time each night and  he really enjoyed that! Colton was also really good for the trip and it was so nice to have MiMi with us to help out with the kids. Brandon and I had a great time too and really enjoyed the water park and water slides as well:) It was our first vacation as a family of four and even though there isn't much relaxing on family vacations these days, I am so excited about the many more that we have to come!

These are the water slides that Grant went down! It took a little convincing at first, but once he did it, he loved it and wanted to do it "again and again!" Hannah also loved them and went down even bigger ones!

They also had an arcade that was lots of fun. This was Grant's favorite game.

They had a bowling ally that was perfect for kids with shorter lanes, gutter guards and smaller balls. We had a great time bowling!

Circle of Friends...continues to grow:)

We had a great visit from the Powells and Steeles on Saturday afternoon. It was the Steeles first time meeting Colton and the first time that all 6 kids got to play together! It was definitely an experience (a very loud one:)) having all of the kids together for the first time. Grant, Sierra and Lila had a great time playing together and Luke and Desmond had fun exploring all of the new toys and were super sweet! Colton was really good despite all of the noise and excitement.

It was so great to see everyone! We all chatted and got caught up, ate pizza and the kids played inside and at the playground across the street. It was a great afternoon and evening!  We are so fortunate to have such an amazing group of friends and I am so excited to see all of our kids grow up together!

Getting Stronger

Last week we decided to let Colton try out the bumbo seat since his neck has gotten a lot stronger. He did really well and seemed to like sitting up even though he also seemed slightly confused by what was going on:) We snapped these pics on Friday morning.
