Unfortunately, we haven't gotten very far yet with potty training. He did have a few weeks where he was doing pretty good and would even potty 4-5 times on certain days (mostly on the days that MaMaw was here:)). We seem to have taken a step back and for the past week, he hasn't wanted anything to do with potty training. I am just trying to be patient about the whole thing and know that he will get it eventually. He did stand up on his step stool today and was able to pee in the potty while standing instead of sitting. He was pretty intrigued by that so maybe that will be a breakthough.
Grant continues to sleep really well at night and will usually sleep until 6:30-7 unless we wake him up, but has had a more difficult time falling asleep at night and for naps for the past week. He doesn't cry or even get out of bed...he just rolls around instead of going to sleep. For a while when we moved him to his toddler bed, he wouldn't get up out of it when he woke up in the morning...not the case anymore. When he wakes up, I'll hear the pitter patter of little feet coming into my room or he'll start yelling for me or Brandon and will wait for us to say it's ok to get up...he then runs into our room...it's pretty cute I have to say:)
Grant is around 34 lbs and is 37 in tall. He is mostly wearing 2T clothes and some 3T. His shoes are size 8...he has a pretty big and wide foot:) We are pretty sure that he is left handed. He feeds himself with his left hand, most of the time colors with his left hand and usually throws balls with his left hand. I guess he is going to be left-handed like his MiMi. He is getting better better at thowing, catching and kicking balls and still loves playing outside. He loves puzzles, books and his hot wheels cars. He will get his "tools" and turn his cars over and "fix" them. Sesame Street, Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Curious George and Barney are his TV shows of choice. He still amazes me daily with some of the things he says and it is really cool to be able to carry on a conversation with him.
We visit PawPaw and MiMi every weekend and Grant loves seeing them and of course spending time with Hannah. He also loves the weekdays that he gets to spend with his MaMaw. They spend lots of time playing and doing fun things outside and Grant absolutely loves the one on one attention!
