The past weekend, we took a weekend family trip to Pigeon Forge with my entire family. We stayed in a condo that had an indoor pool/water park that was perfect for Grant and Hannah. We had an easy drive and plenty of room for everyone in the condo. It was really cold and even snowed some while we were there. Grant and Hannah had a blast at the indoor water park! We did some outlet shopping (and found some great deals!), ate some good food, celebrated Kelli's birthday and had plenty of time for relaxing as well. We bought Grant some light up tennis shoes at the Stride Rite outlet and I have never seen anyone so excited! He was so cute showing his new light up shoes to all of his friends when I dropped him off at school today...it really was the cutest thing! It was such a great weekend get-a-way!
It was our first family trip without PawPaw and we did miss him, but I know he was watching over us the entire time and laughing at Grant and Hannah acting silly together. I feel so fortunate that we are able to take family trips like this and will always cherish these memories.
