Colton turns 1!

 My baby boy is 1 year old!! Where did the past year go?? I guess I need to stop calling him my baby now (although I think he will always be my baby!) Colton is such a sweet and happy little boy. Although he will definitely let you know now if he isn't happy about something or if he isn't getting his way:) He is walking everywhere now and started walking pretty consistently at around 11 1/2 months.  He loves, loves playing outside (just like his big brother). He loves going for walks, swinging, and chasing after bubbles and balls. His favorite toys to play with in the house are all of his brother's toys:) He basically likes to try to do whatever Grant is doing and play with whatever Grant is playing with. He loves music and will dance around when music is playing. He is a little explorer and very curious (which basically means you have to watch him like a hawk because he is in to everything!)

He is still an amazing sleeper and is becoming more and more attached to his pacifier. My goal is to take it away by 18 months (hopefully that will really happen!) He is talking more and more and says words like dada, mama, no, puff, baba for bottle and his pacifier, mo for more, tuck for truck, and gant for Grant. He still likes to play peek-a-boo and can show you where his nose is when you ask him. He waves bye and is definitely a mama's boy right now (I may have spoiled him a little). He has lots of fun at daycare and really loves his teacher, Mrs. Dorothy (who also spoils him!)

He weighs around 22 1/2 lbs and is continuing to get taller. Colton is more of a picky eater compared to Grant, but that has been improving. We are in the process of switching him completely to table food and this weekend, we switched him to whole milk and have taken away all of his bottles except his night time bottle. So far, he has down really well with it and he doesn't seem to miss his bottle very much. He is teething right now as well and is getting his top two front teeth.

The last year has literally flown by and my baby has become a toddler! Happy Birthday Colton!! We Love you so much!
