A Day at the Lake

Last week Brandon had to work late most nights and had to work all day on Saturday because of all of the storms. That meant I had the boys by myself for the first time. It went surprisingly well...definitely a little bit of a challenge figuring out the routine with two and pretty tiring for me, but overall it went pretty well.  But don't get me wrong, I was very excited to have Brandon back home on Saturday night and all day Sunday.  I decided to take Grant and Colton to Lake James by myself on Saturday to visit with the rest of my family.  I wasn't quiet sure how it would go, but we all had a great time...especially Grant!

Aunt Mary Ellen and Uncle Adam gave Grant and Hannah their first fishing rods and they had so much fun fishing. Grant caught his first fish (with the help of Uncle Adam). He also went swimming in the kiddie pool, rode on the golfcart and ate popsicles. It was great to visit with everyone and Colton loved visiting too:) Colton mostly slept during the trip and did great with the car ride.

We're all looking forward to going back to the lake on July 4th with Daddy joining us.
